Maybe a Improper Alloy Mix as well? That's a nice Die Crack. Good find.  Errers and Varietys.

Gonna have to call that a woodie, but why? Definitely a planchet alloy mix difference to have caused the toning to have that effect, like a softer/harder metal and absorption properties. That gold color shows a definite swing to brass over softer copper. Guess there is hope to get a whole LWC set of woodies! |
