Wow! Very nice trio! I like that they are all fairly early die states without the obverse stars reaching for the rim.

I agree with nickel I wish I knew the tricks of the 1827 photographer. All are very lovely coins but that 1827 photography is spectacular

Well, at least the 1825 is common....

Check the die crack progression on the 1818 once you get it; the earlier 114 seems less-common than the later 114a although both can be found in Mint State. If you're patient, and have deep pockets. I think yours is O-114, and likely the scarcest variety you own now.

We discussed the relative rarity of O-115. PCGS has 19 of them in their population. And a grand total of 6 O-114's, and 22 114a's. ANACS data is similar, although they have a few more of 1827 O-115 than PCGS, but none in Mint State.

You've done some work here, friend.

thanks for the encouragement guys. I cant wait to get these in hand. I will have two of three in a few days. I did put a payment down on the first one with the great pics, so I will have that one in a few weeks. I always get "deep pocket" comments, but the truth is I don't make much money at all, whatsoever. I've built a great knife and coin collection since I was little and over the years weed them out and upgrade. I always try to buy the best quality I can afford and I do trust my eye. I am alot more knowledgeable with the custom knives but usually pick out pretty things no matter what I collect. I spend more money then I make for a living. I kind of move my collection and change things and upgrade pieces over the years and it keeps it fun. I DO NOT accumulate. I have maybe 12 nice coins and 22 beautiful hand made knives. You would be shocked at how little income I make right now. :) Life is too short so I am trying to have some fun and buy pretty things! If I had deep pockets Id keep everything ive collected, but ive sold over a hundred knives and a bunch of coins because I always see something I need more! Its an addiction.

Those are extremely nice and original coins. That is the look you want to go for. You have a good eye.
