Bob: You would have to be amongst the most of active collectors of Parthian coins anywhere in the World. Along with that, would be your rapidly expanding knowledge base. I hope that you have kept a personal record of all of the posts you have made on this specialist subject. Such a record could well save you re researching later on, when you may need to reference your own work. Your work is well worth preserving.

Bob,
A superb collection that makes my mouth water!! You should be proud of what you have accomplished in the collecting arena. Keep on truckin'!

Thanks, all, for the comments and encouragement, both here in this thread and throughout the year. I hope some of you will consider posting threads highlighting your own favorite acquisitions from 2017. I, for one, would love to see them.
Spruett: yep, you called it right.
Sel: FYI, after more than a quarter century of collecting Parthians I'm currently more deeply immersed in research about the series than ever before. (Working on a project). There's always so much more to learn, it seems...which of course is why this is so much fun.

An absolutely superb gathering. With your best of line up. I hope at some point we could see your entire Parthian line up. It would certainly be educational and enjoyable.
Thank you for your time in sharing those top 20.

Just stunning! I don't have anywhere near that level of self-discipline when it comes to sticking to a set.
I've got to echo that the Kamnaskires III tet takes the cake for me too... I'm a sucker for king/queen joint issues!

Thanks, folks. Mox, most of my much leaner Parthian collection (I've sold off dozens of the drachms in recent months through direct sales to buyers and through dealers) is here: http://www.forumancientcoins.com/ga...p?album=3627I'll be continuing to reduce down the drachms (except some that are especially meaningful to me) and will build up the tets and fractions in the months and years ahead, if all goes as planned.

If I wasn't so lazy I would post my top 20 but I have some many to choose from especially in the Parthian department, it would be difficult to choose.
