Here's a 5 Franc "coin" commemorating the 1939 shooting festival in Luzern; it was struck by the Swiss Mint in Bern. Though it carries a denomination of 5 Francs, the piece is better considered to be a commemorative medal with a symbolic denomination that was purposely designed to match Switzerland's circulating 5 Franc coins; it is one in a long line of Swiss shooting thalers. The piece is very lustrous - something that gets lost in my scans.

The rest of the Swiss lot included 14 Half Francs and 2 single Francs - They ranged from 1905 to 1963 Most very nice, the 1905 was fine, the rest from 1934 to 1963 was VF or better with one of the 1952's, 58, 60, 62 and 63 AU to UNC (Only 1 duplicate coin - 52) The 1958 was a surprise, just 200k minted and a semi key date and look at the condition of my coin! I have a few clad coins too - but happy to see this much nice silver Swiss coinage floating around in Junk lots of all things. In all I probably paid around $80 Kiwi for 27 Silver Francs (Although I know the 5's are much smaller than the first 5s of the 1920s).
