That's a nice looking coin. I don't mean the dis-colorization, I mean the condition.

I agree with the others, it's not any kind of mint error. Environmental conditions have affected it.

Even saliva on a coin will darken the coin.

So it is not a mint error, just a contaminate that happened to the coin.

That reminds me of a post several months ago where a user commented that he could tell a Copper coin from a Zinc by tasting it.

All copper and silver coins will tone when exposed to the air or other sources of moisture.

As a side note, for future ref. Take your coins out of their case or holder (if you can) before taking the pictures. Also, pics of Obv. and Rev. would be helpful. Your coin looks in exceptional condition! Would like to see the rev.

On your fill rev. pictures, is that a die crack towards the bottom of the left wheat stalk or is it on the slab?
