Great type set -- I first started coin collecing with a primitive US type set, where the coins were Scotch-taped to a piece of cardboard. Long before my type set was as good as yours, I had to give up and diversify to cheaper world coins.

With some recent talk on building a type set, I thought I would bump this one of mine for some of the newer people that may have not seen it. By doing a type set in EF and up you will not have to upgrade it and the design of each coin will have all the details intended. Happy collecting to everyone.

Wowza! the gold page leaves me speechless. Just curious about the Capped Bust halves, looks like the display doubled up on reeded edge halves when one should have been a lettered edge variety. Very impressive collection to be proud of for sure!

A truly impressive type set, very well done and eye appealing. Expansion options are a type set of American eagle gold, buffalo gold, American silver eagle type, A first spouse gold, a Platinum set, and lastly a five ounce America the beautiful coin. Looking for a complete type set is a lofty goal indeed.

Very neat set. I have the Whitman gold type set album, which has the same 20 coins as in your two completed gold pages. It will take me several years to complete, so it's nice to see here what it would look like when it's done.
Have you made any progress on the early gold page? Those are out of my league, but it's always a pleasure to see them.
