Very nice. Do you store these in drawers?

That was my first idea, but I was having trouble finding something that would work, have a basic lock, and most importantly, one my wife would like lol.
I found this locking cabinet at Costco. It is mostly metal, has a basic lock to keep the kids out of, and looks good in our office/family room.

Very nice sets of Ike's and beautiful way to display them!

I can see why your wife approved of the storage unit. I like it!

That is an outstanding display. It always does my heart good to see someone going above and beyond in creating a display that is safe but can still be enjoyed.

That cabinet has a really nice look to it.

Now... is that a tin of 1998 Donruss Preferred I see on the 2nd (left) shelf from the bottom?

I also see you have a couple Danscos in there, and it looks like you'd have plenty of room for CAPS albums. Did you consider CAPS as an Ike storage option? I think I read somewhere that you like to handle each capsule occasionally, so perhaps not.

Thanks celticknot. The tin is what is left from my card collection, which is just the empty tin. I like the look is the Caps albums, but the price has been scarring me away. I will probably do one if I can find it locally.

I would remove the wheels. All a thief would need is a steering wheel and its out the door.

Not too likely. Can't roll it up the steps plus it would be easier to just destroy it to get it. No one would want to take the entire thing, it is too heavy. It killed me bringing it in the house in pieces lol.

I see. You know, that's a good idea. I have one of those Donruss Preferred tins and it would make a good storage box for mint sets in OGP or other sets, coin supplies, etc.

It's definitely an investment, but it's worth it. Consider how much you have spent on the Ikes themselves.
