I'm not an expert by any means on this coin ... do know there are several possible 'weak or no' D examples available.

The full rims on your coin suggest VG08 ... but no opinion on the true 1922 No-D variety.

Crazyb0 I was a bit unsure and had asked here...
There seemed to be a consensus so far, I look again and thanks

Die Pair #2:
Absolutely no trace of a D
Second 2 in date is sharper than the first 2.
All letters in TRUST are sharp.
WE is only slightly mushy.
L in LIBERTY butts up against the rim.
Reverse is sharp with nice wheat lines.

Fails 1) TRUST, 2) slight D, 3) WE is mushed bad, 4) 2's are wrong. It is a strong reverse, but that die was paired with other obverse dies.

Also this is the information I was able to gather and Idid not see a die pairing that would lead to a strong reverse and the other elements. Information quoted here:
"All 1922 weak D or No D coins fall into one of 7 categories:
1. Die Pair #1 Weak D (Weak Reverse)
2. Die Pair #1 No D (Weak Reverse)
3. Die Pair #2 No D (Strong Reverse) also called 1922 Plain
4. Die Pair #3 Weak D (Weak Reverse)
5. Die Pair #3 No D (Weak Reverse)
6. Die Pair #4 Weak D (Weak Reverse)
7. Die Pair #4 No D (Weak Reverse)"

Therefore I concluded that it was a possible Die Pair 2 Which has the following charachteristics:
"Die Pair #2:
Absolutely no trace of a D
Second 2 in date is sharper than the first 2.
All letters in TRUST are sharp.
WE is only slightly mushy.
L in LIBERTY butts up against the rim.
Reverse is sharp with nice wheat lines."

I certainly could have been wrong but felt I had done due diligence and also sought out confirmation from this community.
Thanks again for researching this one with me!

Now if someone could copy this whole thread for an instant answer in the future

I always enjoy being reminded, actually.

Agree with the frog!

It should be sent to PCGS, it's a pretty valuable coin if genuine and not altered. Not saying it's fake, it looks legit, but it should be in a slab.

Looks correct for die pair #2 for me, too. I don't see any hint of a D.

On the contrary, this is in fact die pair #2, all of the diagnostics pass, and compared to a couple of known examples in similar VG grades, it is a dead ringer.

A VERY nice find and worth a TPG's opinion.
