You know, I got a few of them.....four or five South Carolina ones.....a few Tennessee ones......and some 1st year ones (no Deleware).....but that's all I got. I think at the time I was just trying to get the lower mintage qtrs. or something. I was going for "key States" I guess ! Ha Ha.....but certainly not the whole 50 state run........

Anyone trying to sell 46 1st Day Covers for almost $7k needs to have their head examined. You can still purchase 42 of them directly from the Mint for $14.95 each!

......this seemed ridiculous to me too....so much so that I went on the Mint's website and saw that too.
But, so if this "auction starting bid" sells for that, then WOW !..... those four quarters that the mint DOESN'T have for sale are pretty pricey quarters] !....
So, 42 of them are worth $14.95 plus shipping/handling right now and anybody can get them this very hour......... that means the other four that they CAN'T get are worth......hummmm......let's see...
$6,065.00
WOW !>**^?**..!.... four quarters worth $6,065.00!......HOLY CHRISTMAS !....THIS HAS GOT TO BE A RECORD FOR MODERN NUMISMATICS! This is just incredible !.....I wonder who will be the lucky person to win the bid on these 1st Day State Quarter Coin Covers.......MERCY !......
Okay.....I'm only kidding.................

In all seriousness......I kind of do wish I had two of each these 1st day Coin Covers for the State Quarters !!.......the "extra" one I would sell someday 30 years from now and just keep one each for my collection........regardless of the value now or potential value in the future !

I only bought the namesake one. And one version.

How about them coin-and-die sets?

I never have bought a "coin and die set" of any type or era......
I just never put Two Cents of thought into the " State Quarter die sets"...because, wrongly or rightly, I just never thought they'd be worth much over what I'd have paid for them......They certainly weren't/aren't hot sellers....as you can still get them so....
If any other people have information on these and their values I'd be interested to hear as well.

I assume the first year ones are the $250.00 and/or low mintage states.......hummmm......interesting. Might have to check and see just what all is available and still in stock.....I doubt any first year (1999) are still left though ?..
