Wow! This seller knows what he's doing, he just is being stupid. Hopefully, no one buys his junk. It's pretty sad to see this happening. Always be very careful shopping on ebay for error coins. Errers and Varietys.

Chase007, when I first saw your post, I thought it was a new member thinking that they had found a rare error. I was ready to type "It's PMD, not an error" - until I saw it was your post and it was about an ebay listing. Edited by SilverDollar2017

SilverDollar2017, same here! I thought it was a new member thinking they had an error coin. Then I realized it was Chase's post about a ebay listing. Errers and Varietys.

You know...for as unscrupulous and irritating as these sellers are...
1) An moderately informed consumer would not "bite".
2) If someone actually does bid/buy a coin like this - "buyer be ware", really does apply
That said I really DO appreciate all the efforts that everyone puts out to keep this hobby as ethical as you possibly can!

Good grief! He has another gem: error coin Lincoln Penny 1969 crooked 6 raw ungraded Imagine that: a 1969 cent with PMD on a digit in the date. Whodathunkit? And it's only $24.99 for this "used raw ungraded" special by the seller who proudly states "Seller does not accept returns." oy vey. |
