Haven't weighed it. How much should it weight. It is the same size as a regular cent.

normal weight should be approx 3 grams
if it weighs 2.5 grams it would be a copper plated zinc cent which would make it a transition error coin

Believe it or not, either that is a cast fake coin or it is one that has suffered damage in an acid bath to have become that distorted. That is NOT a mint produced error but I'm at a loss to say exactly what happened. It definitely was "doctored" some how.

Who would be able to tell me if it was doctored for sure. Will try and weight it when I get home. If it weighs the same as the one cents doesn't that mean they it wasn't doctored since acid would strip a coating off? Thank you for welcoming me. And the chance to learn a lesson definitely

The design is not correct. Note the devices near the rim are missing the edge that should be there. Maybe a sand cast? Does it stick to a magnet? Weight? Or maybe it was sand blasted?

It should weigh either 3.1g (for copper) or 2.5g (for plated zinc). Both were made that year and neither would be an error. I asked because what it is made of will help figure out what happened to it.
It is a little puzzling...

OK so, its lighter than a copper cent and about the same as a zinc cent, but thats just using a makeshift balance to weight them. Sounds like a zinc when I drop it on a granite countertop. Idk if that's way used to accurately distinguish them.

Doesn't seem to be attracted to any magnets. Ordering a scale tonight so I'll have exact weights soon. In the meantime I found these two 1982d copper cents I think. Any thoughts?

The balance is probably good enough if it seemed to positively identify it as a copper-plated zinc coin. Having a decent scale is always helpful in this hobby, though. As for the two new ones you posted, they do appear to be copper Large Dates. They are in pretty good shape for their age, but I'm not seeing anything too special about them.

Sorry to sound like the new guy, but, I'm the new guy. Do I see part of the word liberty over his mouth in the second obverse photo?

I also just noticed a faint 6 under the 9 on the date. Is that normal?
