au58. rub in breast. weakly struck in tailfeathers, and all over reverse wreath.
i think this is a low quality coin for the grade due to the overall weak strike.

I'll say weak strike on obverse and especially the reverse will give it a AU55

with Numismatic Student down the line.

Not attractive because of really poor strike.

I support the AU55 crowd. The fade in the obverse lettering is interesting academically. A sharply struck AU+ is sure hard to come by, isn't it? I hope it's priced in light of the weak strike, but I say the general eye appeal leans towards the positive.

Is it just the photos, or is there something going on with the rim edges? Right side, both sides...

they interpreted the breast rub as strike weakness. I disagree with that assessment.

No kidding - that has got to be the worst 62 I've seen - Not bumming you're coin out Steelers but if I were to spend 62 money on a FE I'd at least want alot of tail feathers and the same on the reverse - alot of detail.

Thanks for all the opinions but a disclaimer - I dont own this coin. I am trying to familiarize myself with the way these are graded before I snag one.

Oh, good thing - it's a bad example of a 62 (JMO)
