It looks like TSC has 10% cash back today. Not sure how long, but it works well with the SHIP150 free shipping code and easy pays.

I always cringe when I see them handling the coins with their bare hands.

Quote: Free shipping and 1.5% cashback offered on TSC Free shipping is for orders $150 above with ship150 code. 1.5% discount is not from TSC, it is from 3rd party coupon company. As for the show, slim pickings for new releases. No silver incuse, map, solar system. The only June releases available are the Caribou gold coin and $2 Bill/Toonie. The rest of the of the show is older coins, some from previous years.

The 12% cashback is gone from that 3rd party company. It seems to be a one day thing.

@MoneyPenney Yes you're right. It appears that whenever the new products from the RCM are available to be sold each month on TSC, They raise the Cashback from the third party to increase the sales before The Coin Show airs. You have to be quick to take advantage of the Cashback.

Quote:12% back your still taking a loss on RCM coins when u go to sell them, lol. Since not everyone buys coins to re-sell, a drop from $650 to $572.00 is a good deal for a unique 5oz numismatic coin.

The 12% cashback is actually a 5% cashback if you live in a PST province like BC. I don't know why the TSC charges 7% PST while its sister company Canadian Coin and Currency does not charge PST. $650 x 1.07= $695 x .88= $611 actual cost. If you decide re-sell at issue price you will lose money given ebay selling fees are around 12%.

@MoneyPenney There are ways to get your taxes back depending on where you sell your coins. Also, it depends if you are a registered business. It's my understanding that TSC is registered as a business in B.C. So is the RCM. That's why they charge tax in B.C. CC&C is not, so they can't charge PST in B.C.
