I have found eight Oklahoma Quarters in normal change, but nothing else dated 2008.

I have not seen one Wyoming Quarter. So far it is the only one I had not gotten during the year it was issued.

I would not know, since I have not been back to Illinois in ten years! I live a little further south and east of there now (SC).

Oh !....Sorry !
I was trying to remember from a LONG time ago when I thought you'd said that !.....guess I confused that with a reference or story or something that you'd said !.......oops !
I've never lived anywhere but Cow Patty U.S.A.....or (Topeka as others call it).......so......guess I forget that people actually DO move to other states on occasion !!...

No harm, no foul!

I have mentioned before that I was born in the Chicago area, actually on the Indiana side of the line. What I am just now mentioning is that I have lived in seventeen different cities and eleven different states.

jbuck, your story is very similar to mine, except I lived in a bunch of different towns in AZ, and NM, before I wasa 15, Dad was a Telegraph operator. Then after joining the navy, I saw every rock in the Pacific ocean! After I retired, I added Mexico to my list. I'm waiting for my move to Canada. It may have to wait until my next life on earth!. I still need a couple "P"'s for my P/D collection. I need a roll of AZ, OK, NM, and UT, all "P", to be up to date.

Holy Moses !!........was this because of a job ?....or just a restless spirit !!?
I've moved between Silver Lake and Topeka a few times (11 miles apart) and within these cities a few times........but I couldn't even imagine the kind of "moving" ya'll are doing !!

My dad's job kept us on the move. He was an engineering project manager, so wherever they were building whatever it was they were building, he had to be there to make sure it was built right!

Did I mention that my now retired dad lives in Arizona? You know, the state whose quarter we are discussing!

I got one yesterday from the soda machine along with a New Mexico. Those are the first 2008s I've seen.

Hey Everyone,
Got 6 or so in rolls on 6/25 and four had the die chip errors that overlap the designer's initials on the reverse, below the saguaro cactus. Theres also a die chip error that overlaps the first 0 of 2008. I called a local bank yesterday (27th), and they had just got them in. I got 33 rolls, went thru 10 so far and have a little more than 2 rolls with the chip over the initials. I'm still looking for the other one over the date. If anyone here gets Coin World, it is in the June 16th and the 23rd issue. The 23rd issue has the best pics. So far, all the coins appear to be from Philadelphia. I'll update as to what I find in the rest of the rolls.
