Actually there is alot of detail left on it - especially the reverse - I'll go VF25

It appears to be a Browning 4 variety (B-4, R-1)

VF-20 but fields suggest an old cleaning to my eye.

Thanks kanga. I agree with your attribution. The Browning 4 has the only reverse where the OF is far away from AMERICA.

This one came today. It came in a huge envelope which was odd for a single coin delivery. The seller sent alongside the coin a padded Deutsche Bundespost envelope dated July 9, 1981 which apparently showed that this coin was sent on that date from Munich Germany to Frederick Oklahoma. It was really nice of the seller to send that along with the coin, showing how the coin had traveled back to its country of origin. they didn't need to incur the additional postage to do that but they did. Sometimes little, unexpected things happen that make you fall in love with the hobby again. Thoughts?

Love that envelope A great time in.

Coin does show old cleaning, but it's a nice looker, and a better purchase for that price.

Even cleaned, you did well on this one.
