You wouldn't be able to do the math! Since your silly investigation didn't add up I know you can't add!

Who are we speaking to? Is this Garrett, Bryan, Sybil, Mrs. Doubtfire, or Luke Skywalker? Which personality are we talking to now?

Neither of you are doing yourselves any favors with the back and forth name calling. Sheldon - even if everything you allege is true, it's not going anywhere. Postal Inspectors don't care about small, petty-ante fraud. The man-hours it would take to subpoena various service providers and companies like ebay make the case prohibitively expensive to proceed with. It's very likely most of your "evidence" is inadmissible. If your tone is ANYTHING like your tone here, it will likely be tossed as entrapment anyway. Further, there's a big obstacle which is "sales puffery" - a salesman can say pretty much anything s/he wants as long as it's not out-and-out fraud. In order to settle the issue might require a full forensic analysis, likely destructive. /1/ The holder clearly looks like the Capital Plastics type including the signature screws which are yellowed with (apparent) age. Does anyone have a contemporaneous CP catalog to see if they made those slabs (if it were a special order as the newpaper ad indicates, might not be conclusive) /2/ What is the chemical composition of the adhesive on the seals? Is it one that was in use at the apparent time or introduced more recently. /3/ Same question with the stamp and the ink used with the stamp. Fonts on the stamp also might provide a good indication. /4/ The entire certificate needs examination. Was it all printed at once? Or is it laser printed onto an offset printed form? The letters are nearly perfectly aligned and that typically precludes a typewriter. It's not impossible that in 1987 a laser printer was used, but it would have been unusual and very expensive. The fonts need to be checked - it's easy to mistakenly use a font introduced long after the time in question. There are many other things to check, but all of this requires a very high-resolution image of the certificate (front and back) should anyone have one to post. Still, it's been fun

It is fake. The guy is in full panic mode now because now people will search for the holders and see this thread.
He is in such a panic he can't even remember which name he is using.

Just yesterday I dealt with several customers who purchased these coins from me and we have pending payment arraignments made who were told by me about this whole thread and all of them made the decision to proceed with their purchase! You can lie all you want Sheldon (or whatever your name is)! I will be right here setting the record straight. You are a jealous sad man for sure. I was born Bryan Watkins got it!!? As you will see these coins will only increase in value because of the slab. you changed nothing concerning this whatsoever! And you wouldn't even believe the premium paid on them. That 1961 P dime you started out being jealous of was small time premium in comparison. I didn't set the price it was offered by satisfied collector's! Keep it up though. There is no doubt I will sell these last few I have for the market to buy. And I am keeping the ones I like best! you will never own one Sheldon. you can just enjoy your PCGS or NGC holders and watch those loose value over time! My coins are on the level. I hope I meet you somewhere! you just better only drop to your knees and say sorry repeatedly or it won't go well for you at all. Neither will these lies work at all to do any damage to me. Keep this in mind.

I thought that holder was cool. Your mistake was when they all got removed and you started popping up with new accounts. I knew then something was up.
You are already damaged: your listings are gone and now your multi-year project is over. USNAF slabs will come up as frauds now. Thank you Google!
Your biggest concern is that somebody who bought one of these is going to get mad. Tread carefully Bryan/Garrett/Doubtfire.

I would never meet you. You would beat me up. You have numbers at your side. Even if I can get Bryan down for the punch Garrett will flank me and Mrs. Doubtfire may come in with a roundhouse kick.

One question for USNAFguy - have you contacted Conder101. This man is the authority on slabs having written a book on them. By ignoring his request you are admitting your guilt in my opinion. Please elaborate.

Yes we have talked! Just today.. He messaged me and I responded. We will be talking again later today. By the way he said he thought it was legitimate! He offered to buy one himself for his slab collection. Wonder what Sheldon will think of that? Lol

I was contacted by him on ebay (on my 1 and only account!) and we exchanged communication. I am sure I will hear from him again today. "Legitimate" was his exact wording concerning these slabs in question. The truth will come out! I wonder how Sheldon will be taking this.
