Determining a price is a very hard thing to do, especially for a unique coin like yours. Its worth what someone wants to pay for it... best I can say. Your best hope would be a large auction house or something. I don't think ebay is a good place for it.

The price is part of the reason I'm asking whether or not anyone knows if this is the most off center 1964, if it is indeed the most off center I think the price I'm asking is reasonable given that there have been 1964 Kennedy errors that have sold in excess of $3500 as recent as last year. Most of the off center strike 1964's are only 5 or 10% off center, with a couple I've seen in the 25% to 30% range. There are two Heritage auction records of 50% off center examples, but those haven't been on the market in nearly a decade.

Impressive for sure ,I think I would have put in a make an offer with your BIN price . If your piece is truly unique at 65% you'll have no problem getting a decent price .

Maybe try keeping the price as is but allowing offers, and people will tell you what they are willing to pay, obviously dont accept the first offer you receive unless its acceptable to you. I think that should give you a good indication of what the "market value " is but I feel stuff on ebay does sell for less

Quote: I would like to know how they know that it's a 1964 Quote: 1964 was the one and only year for Kennedy 90% silver Plus the first place I looked, was the rev. for a D mint mark but it wasn't there.

You might check with Fred Weinberg on ebay and see what he thinks? He would probably have a better idea.

Yeah, I know I'm late to the party, but I don't think that there will be another one, that one be as Off Center as this one. That's a very nice error coin!

In 1964 these were released only in rolls, never in bags. Please correct me if I'm wrong. How did that thing get out of the mint?

They were probably in bags. It would not fit into a roll. Back then you could buy bags.

Thanks for the compliments, I'll try contacting Fred Weinberg and see if he knows of a more off-centered example. So far this is looking like the most off center though.

Fred Weinberg hasn't replied yet, but Sullivan told me he handled a couple of 50% off center examples in the past. Those might be the same two 50% off center examples in the Heritage records, no way of knowing though.
