to CCF. As the others have mentioned, none of those would justify the cost of getting them slabbed.

to The Coin Community! It may seem a bit disappointing to you that none of these are worthy of being graded but the best part is that they were given to you by your Dad. That adds a special value that will become more and more important to you as years go on. My Mom was not a collector but somehow had a Morgan in her jewelry box and gave it to me when I was a teenager. Many years later she has passed and that coin has become so valuable to me. Enjoy what you've received. Couldn't agree more. Some of my most cherished coins are from the Wheat Cents my grandfather gave me long ago (all are common). And the two prescription bottle tubes filled with silver quarters my Dad gave me, also all common and worth only melt. But I love them and they are treated better than most my other coins.

Also, how do u reply to a person's individual post? I had to copy and paste Cipster's post instead of replying to it.

Reply the same way you just did - type your message in the Quick Reply box and hit Submit Reply. Or are you talking about contacting him directly?

I would replace the flips. I see some water spots and rusty staples. Welcome to the forum.

I copy and pasted your reply. But there should be a button where your reply shows up in a gray box. Otherwise it just looks like I typed both lines out, can't tell the first one was your original post.

Other forums have a "reply with quote" button directly on someone's comment. Is that what you're talking about? Here you have to copy it and put quote tags around it. I think, anyway. [ quote ][ /quote ] without the spaces.

Yep that's it. And yes, this is the first forum of any kind I've seen without a "quote" button. Thanks for the tip jbuck.

Quote: Other forums have a "reply with quote" button directly on someone's comment. We intentionally removed it because it's amazing how much laziness it encourages, You end up with posts getting "requoted" so many times the nested quotes are almost frightening and impossible to figure out.
