Quote: I looked at the 5 oz. bluenose and noticed that the mirror surfaces morphed into some sort of bump map effect. I noticed that in the rose gold version of the Big Coin series. I didn't think much of it. I'm not certain it was meant to be a flat mirror finish. The first series in 2015 definitely had a texture to it.

Quote: 2019 Pysanka coin - with black'n'gold colour pattern with Judaic symbol in the middle Nice 3D Pysanka coin this year. No Judaic symbol, though. Sometimes a star is just a star, with no reference to race/religion.

But nothing bad in mentioning any religion related attributes, if the elements of the design is same. To describe 6 pointed star, I can recall only as "Judaic star" or "Sheriff's star" Will agree, that this year, IMO the design of the coin is the best.

To describe 6 pointed star, I can recall only as "Judaic star" or "Sheriff's star" My point is that you won't find any Jewish symbolism on a traditional Christian Easter egg which is used to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

, you right here. I was very curious and found the 'original'. Here it is: Together with this: is it by the chance the figure, resembles traditional symbol of one religion, appears on the item from other?

Funny... not funny. I have the RCM Platinum Prestige membership (I spent too much last year) and I received the "Confidential pre-release" notification from my rep this morning about the Pysanka coin; he indicated that he couldn't share a picture yet... I had already seen the coin on ebay thanks to alerts from this forum, albeit at a somewhat inflated price from what was proposed by the RCM. Questioning the value of the Platinum Prestige... I definitely would not pay separately for the membership and have it only because I have accumulated a level of purchases.

What is the point of a rep? They are an inefficiency.

I got rid of my Rep years ago. Once in awhile when I ordered coins through him he would duplicate the order, so he can get a bigger commission I guess. He played dumb. That's when I said bye bye. You don't need a rep, they are useless IMO.

The RCM Master Club program has become irrelevant when you can get almost every coin at other sources. This is especially true when it comes to the upper tiers of the MC programs. Except maybe for the Carousel coin, there was not a single coin out of 300+ coins that you could not bought at lower MC tiers. If you were in the lowest tier, the Silver, which only needed $1000 in purchases, you could have gotten the same access to coins as the Prestige level which needed $10,000 in purchases. A prime example is the 2018 Renewed War Memorial Silver dollar. Almost 3 months after release date, the coin remains available for purchase. It went through all tiers of the MC program and is still not sold out.
