That's a beauty! I wonder how long it was in circulation before you found it - a day, a month, a year? I guess we'll never know.

@nicklesercher I was not stealing said spot light, nor do the rules and requlations state I have to do such thing. I was showing my coin to the OP, not for your instructions on where to post. Also the rules do state to not flood the forums with similar topics, so by posting here I am abiding by the rules. Thanks and have a great weekend.

The current Nickel is not one of my favorite designs but I will say the proof is rather pretty. Willy, when did you find yours?

I've never been lucky enough to find a proof in circulation. That's part of why I love circulated coins. Each has a story to tell. I know perfect uncirculated coins bring the biggest bucks, but there is no back story. "I was made, now I'm here" is the best they can do. This one has a history. Who took it out of the set, and why? How did it end up in that roll? Was it spent? Mistakenly used to fill out a roll?  Others call it impaired, I call it a story starter.  |

Nice proof rescued from the wild.
Also appears to be a nice rim Cud to the right of the building (unless of course that is PSD.)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups.
We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
