I guess so. Still would like a better look at the surfaces. The scratch I can see, and I'm guessing cleaned, but ...?

I'm quite certain the coin is cleaned, not in a horrible way though. Will update this thread soon hopefully! Thanks everyone!

That has all the look of a typical strikethrough error. Much more common on Seated dollars. Congrats on the acquisition. They are kind of a big deal.

Cleaned, XF details. Almost looks like a rubber band "burn" mark across the reverse (?). Nice coin for the price you paid.

I wish I had a SLD! I do have a PCGS xf45 1853 half. My half has a lot more wear than your dollar, so I'd go with AU details (scratch, cleaning).
