How can you tell? Basically if it looks decent, it's been cleaned?

In these blurry images, cleaning lines seem to show all over, but need sharper pics to confirm.

Yes, numerous hairlines. This is the worst of the three pieces you posted (that I have seen).

Ken - Can you sharpen these images? You say it's hard for you to tell - perhaps the first set of pics is misleading.

Coinfrog, I don't have the coin, these pictures were just copied. They're all blurry.

Well OK - aren't you concerned about the apparent scratches in these pics? Why is this hard to tell?

I hadn't blown it up enough to see yhe hairlines. Mostly I was trying to learn how to spot a cleaned coin. The hairlines imply it was cleaned with a tool of some sort rather than being dipped?

the hairlines indicate it was cleaned with an abrasive cloth, paste, bristles or something else.

Looks high AU. there are some definite scratches in the fields with some pretty deep, however, because of the blurry photos its too difficult to determine if they cross over the devices or are just on the fields. if it was harshly cleaned you would see them crossing everything not just the fields. if you don't own it, I would pass without better photos
