Do the mirror image. That will show us what it is.
This is what a normal rotation looks like:

Here's the picture Coop. I'll retake it at a later time, if it's too poor (didn't have good lighting, since it's night time in my area. I know that I am not supposed to hold the coin with nail clippers, but I made sure that it only touched the holder and not the coin.

The new pic shows the degree of the rotation which is impressive, versus your original posted images which they did not and I would have thought it was 45 degrees as well. Excellent find.

Thanks. That helps so much more. The first set of images are not showing that. The rotation you had on the images were only show a few degrees.
Just realized looking at your coins image, I needed to edit the one I posted before. I had to mirror image the reverse image.

Tanman2001 now owns this coin! I traded it for some good coins. He is now going to send it off for grading.

Is there a correct direction to rotate the coin to determine the degrees it needs to be moved to get back to correct orientation ?
Where can I see a diagram that shows the degrees of rotation in regards to a LMC ?
It seems if I rotate it clockwise, it requires less rotation to get the proper orientation, than if I rotated the coin counterclockwise. It's messing with my head.

Is it by any chance the shortest distance to proper orientation, that determines the amount of rotation ?

Dan

I was able to view it this Morning. Thanks Tunioc.

The site has a "Rota-Flip" device which is designed to measure the rotation in either a CW or CCW direction, but the number will be never more than 180 degrees.
