the 84CC is known for above average strikes. the obverse photo does make it difficult to determine broken luster. the coin looks MS65 even with the hit on the reverse which is in a key area but may only reduce the grade by 1/2 in my book.

what gets my goat is that a lot of graders think MS65 is a perfect coin...its not. there are 5 higher grades

MS-65 and possibly 66 with better photos.

Pretty coin. Only drawbacks I can find are the contact marks on the LR obverse and the shotgun blast to the eagle's chest. I'll go 65.

Agree westcoin, looks clean enough for a 65+, possible low end 66.

I'm usually pretty good at grading Morgan's, and I think this one graded ms-66. However I wouldn't pay 66 money for this one, the hits on the breast are just too distracting :)
