I have a one dollar bill from the 60s like that! Has Henry Fowler signature. Love seeing those things. Another example of 80% of Americans not looking at there currency!

Vince: I am interested in hearing what you might have to say, but, the board won't let me e-mail you.

Quote: Vince: I am interested in hearing what you might have to say, but, the board won't let me e-mail you. Kicksave needs to have 50 quality posts and 14 days of membership before being able to participate in Buy/Sell/Trades on the forum; this also prevents him from being able to PM members.

That would be a rare neat thing to have in your ever expanding coin collection ......dontcha think ?........I'd keep it were it mine Kicksave44 !... Wait for more opinions and value estimates too.......the "US Note Forum" section isn't frequently visited as much as the others, but many will find this thread in time....... Just wait and keep participating within the forum until you've reached 50 posts if you're trying to sell it though.

Thanks for the advice Eaglefoot. I have not made any decisions. In fact, I still do not have a handle on the value of the note. Just biding my time...

Thanks Phil. The more I read, the more I think I am just going to hold on to it. Still have no idea about value but that may be beside the point.

1981A $1.00 FRN *MISSING THE 3RD PRINT COMPLETLY* R.C.G.S #67 NO THIRD PRINT. 1981A SERIES ONE DOLLAR FEDERAL RESERVE NOTE.... APPEARS TO HAVE COME FROM THE BOSTON DISTRICT FROM THE EMBOSSING LEFT FROM THE SHEET ABOVE. MOST OF THESE ERRORS HAPPEN WHEN TWO SHEETS STICK TOGETHER BEFORE THE THIRD PRINT COMES INTO PLACE. CAUSING THE SEALS AND SERIAL NUMBERS TO GET PRINTED ON ONE SHEET AND NOT THE OTHER. GRADED BY R.C.G.S AS A SUPERB GEM #67 PRICED AT $575.00 I found, but the note is graded and in perfect condition. Have you ever seen someone sell a graded 20 dollar start the auction at a penny. And that it sells less than 20?
