@PetesPockets it's only an assumtion. There may have been a clash that rotated the die, or it may have been rotated to begin with.
@Rookie, persistance is key with quantity comes quality.
@Rabbithole I saw the obverse first and was confused. I almost threw it back for a sec because I thought there was no way it was authentic. But as you said, after a closer look I couldn't believe it myself!

GrapeCollects, USPS can be a nightmare to deal with sometimes. I hope to god they didn't lose or misplace your package!

hmmm when the post office takes extra days to deliver something, it is a bad omen.
EDIT: I have had my fair share and then some with bad omens.

Quote: Well the rotation of the die probably happened during a previous die clash. It probably didn't happen during the double strike, because it was the coin that rotated. Missing word was die.

Congrats Grape What if it was stamped and fell on the floor and was swept up with other blanks and stamped again by a different press.

Quote: What if it was stamped and fell on the floor and was swept up with other blanks and stamped again by a different press. Zero. Any coins that hit the floor have to be remelted. Odds are it failed to eject from the collar. Quote: GrapeCollects, you deserve to be the owner of that awesome coin.
