Lol, all good answers! That's why I posted this! And that's interesting that people have submitted this same quarter in barely better condition to get graded lol. I bet PCGS & NGC were like wth?!?!

I would have to say it's a classic Lowball . P-01 . There are collectors for these lowball coins . Might consider sending it in .

I'm surprised PCGS does not yet have a lowball registry set for the early Washington quarters. Looks like a P-1 to me

That is some good, honest wear. I've never seen the obverse of a Washington quarter with LIBERTY entirely worn off. I would say this is definitely P-01.

I think we should all chip in a buck or two to have it graded and have it as our group's first entry in a PO-1 registry set.

This is a PCGS PO1. It doesn't show the holder,

but it's a part of a registry lowball type set.

I agree with Coinfrog. The OP's coin is better then PO-1. To much date visual. To much meat on the bone!

Look...either we upgrade and try for a complete FR-02 registry set or OP makes that a pocket coin for some additional wear.

I was thinking the same thing. With no other coins/change or abrasive material in the pocket!
