I just check PCGS for a 1963-S (Probably submitted for a DDO, that wasn't) to see what it graded out: $3 MS-63 Probably cost him 15 times that to have it graded. https://www.PCGS.com/cert/35616281When they used to show a lot of images, I counted 130 that were submitted and just graded as a normal coin because they were not the big DDO. Make sure your willing to take that big of a hit on grading a coin that is just a circulation find. |

@coop OP is trying to get email of YouTuber Coin Opp (great channel that introduced me to coin collecting). He wants to send him pictures of this 1969 S penny thinking that Coin Opp is gonna tell him that this is a DDO (which this is not). OP thinks that we lied to him about this penny. He thinks this is the real deal! OP, this is NOT a DDO 1969 S penny. I wish you best of luck. Please do send this coin to PCGS and get it graded and then MAKE SURE to post results of how much money you e wasted on grading normal coin! Cheers |

The issue is that the mintmark is showing the same doubling as the date, which it shouldnt, none of the other letters or devices show the doubling that they should, and the lighting is verh bad in these pictures. From the pictures you posted of the other letters on the coin, we can be certain that this is NOT the 1969 S Doubled Die you are looking for, or any doubled die for that matter.

adnan10010, go to varietyvista.com and click on the tab DDO listings and then click on the tab 1969 S. That is the actual Doubled die cent. |

Here is a side by side of two different 1969-S Cents. Can you see the differences:  Seeing them side by side will help the eyes to see how they are different. It is not just about the dates for this year. |

Adnan, I'm sorry you're not getting the answers you prefer. This is not the marquee doubled die 69-S that is so highly coveted in the variety community based off the secondary set of images that show the entire obverse/reverse. Furthermore, Dustin Morgan is no longer with the Coinopp group. He sold his share of the Coinopp Youtube channel a few days ago and is no longer in affiliation with the channel or related groups. He doesn't contribute in that way anymore as he is focusing on family. I wish you all the best in your collecting future!

Get a good microscope then you will be able to get a clear pics. From that you will get better helps from these expert on this community. The problem right now is the pics...

Adnan, arguing and posting more poor quality pictures aren't gonna help. Coop also gave you plenty of information about the 1969 s DDO. It's very clear that you don't have it. Just stop please. This thread is pointless now. You already got your answer, but keep going on and on about your coin, even though the answer was already given.  Errers and Varietys.
