When looking at the Variety Vista images, always read the description first. That will direct you to the hub doubling. They include images of non affected areas on the coin. This might seem lazy on their part, but gives you a chance to see if the doubling matches even non affected areas. So if your coin is showing doubling were it shouldn't be, then you know it is not a match to your coin. So I repeat, read the description to see what areas should be affected. So if you have some areas that don't match, it is probably not that die number. ( sometimes die/coin wear can weaken devices)

Don't forget to spell it right. It is a doubled die (note there are two "d"s in doubled, so the website is doubleddie.com. Gobs and gobs of doubled dies listed on there, more than on any other site I believe although a number of them don't include photos for some years and die numbers.

Good find. They're not easy to come by - I picked one up not long ago and have considered sending it to PCGS.

I'd only send that one to PCGS if you really would like it slabbed for yourself. It'll cost you about $50 to get it slabbed between fee for slab, fee for variety, and postage plus insurance in both directions. You'd be able to pretty easily sell the coin using the photos you have for pretty much exactly what you would get for it in a slab, and thus you'd be out the money it cost you to slab the coin. So not a money-making proposition, but always nice to have a good coin graded and slabbed for posterity.

This helps show the hub doubling a bit better.
