Congrads on the finds. How long did it take you to go through all of them?

Sorry for the short original post.
I actually did look at every coin and mint mark to make sure I did not pass up any NIFC coins.
There were none.
One thing that I did notice was the abundance of 1997 D&P coins that appeared to be uncirculated. The details were sharp, many had no imperfections even at 2.75% that I could find and there were A LOT of them. I kept out about 30 before I started running low on replacements to put back in the rolls.
I also found a 1994 quarter in the center of one roll :) Heck, I had a roll of quarters last week with a nickel in the center, but oddly enough it was one of the clear rolls and it stood out like a sore thumb. Funny thing was I picked up the roll at the bank and they did not notice it until I pointed it out.
This was my first box of halves, but not my first rolls. I have about 400 halves that I have pulled from rolls over the years. I was a little disappointed that I did not find more, but at least I did not get skunked.
BTW...I opened the box around 4:00 and was finished by 6:00 and enjoyed a snack around roll 20, so I figure it really only took about an hour and a half. That includes putting everything back in the rolls they came out of.

Boy, I thought it would take a loot longer to go through a box of halves.

Sorry you found no NIFC's, but it looks like you have a nice hoard of high-grade 97's to barter with!

Yes you can still find Franklin halves. Not very often, but every now and then one shows up. Even Walking Liberties show up on occasion. 11 40% in one box is an excellent find, congrats.

I've searched 4 boxes of halfes. Found 1 franklin out of the 4 boxes. Last 2 boxes have been skunks, not the first 40% or anything. Taken a break for a bit since more and more of my disposable cash goes in my gas tank and grocery bill (sigh). That is a great start.

I picked up another $400 from another bank yesterday.
No silver, but did find 2 2005 NIFC's, so I'm still a happy camper.
I'll take them all back monday and cash out.
I know another bank that has about $700 in their vault just waiting for me to pick up.

spotco- Do you call ahead? How do you know what they have in their vault? I've been tempted to just call instead of show up and be told they don't have any...

I own a locksmith company and we do a lot of bank service work (and have for many years) so I have become good friends with many employee's at many banks.
Normally I just ask when I am working at one of the banks what they have or if I am working inside the main vault, I'll just glance around.
Bankers talk to each other and my friends ask around other banks for me to see if they have any halves and call me when they find some.
