with Dave Errors on making the point of: if your certain it is what you see it is , then send it in for grading.

also with what the veteran members have tried explaining as their opinions based on what they see.

I completely disagree with how your handling the situation. Everyone of those guys are always quick to congratulate, encourage, share tips, admit when wrong, and give their honest evaluation as to what their looking at.

The roof shows slight attachment so therefor cannot be considered a "Floating roof". Also, if theres a faded marking of the G due to over-polishing, then it cannot be considered "No FG"

Sorry, not sorry

P.S.- Whenever you ask for opinions, be sure you can handle them disagreeing with you. Otherwise keep it to yourself

My coin does not display any hint of the Fg but like most circulated coins it would have some marks here and there due to PMD. A mark close to where the Fg suppose to be is not the tail of the g or anything like that. It is Post Mint Damage. What is funny about these groups is if having an Fg was considered valuable in this coin then you would hear these same people saying that they are not seeing it. In fact they would be 100% convince that it is Post Mint Damage.

Now Yokzona is drawing an FG in my picture. Crazy. I now see it now someone has drawn it into my pick. Yes there it is. Thanks for the drawing. Maybe I could draw in a Close AM one day.

Thanks for the various opinions. Because I got my son with 20/20 vision to inspect the coin in detail under magnification before I posted and he is extremely hard and skeptical yet he did not see any Fg and agreed the roof was fully detached I say we would have to agree to disagree. I don't live in the US so grading it right now is out of the question.
Thanks again for your contributions.

Wow, this is pretty sad. You said Yokzona is drawing on the image? Heres a screenshot I took of the picture from your first post and- whats this? An FG clear as day. I really dont understand what your trying to achieve by calling us all liars when you clearly just havent done enough research.

ANA ID: 3203813 - CONECA ID: N-5637 Clean a coin that may be worth collecting? Please DON'T! When in doubt, leave it dirty!!

I still see the FG as well. You can see the faint image of the F and the G in your first set of pictures. The FG is located to the right of the memorial base. Your pictures with the blue Arrows are pointing it out.
These two I circled in red are pointing directly at the FG.

I am sorry, but the FG is still there.

A lot of what tricks us is the lighting. Shine a light around the coin and you will see that at some angles the FG disappears, and at others it shows through slightly.

The bottom line is: the FG is visible although very weak. The roof is still attached, won't matter which side may be detached. Even if it were fully detached would bring a little if no premium depending on the condition of the coin.As several members have chimed in, the lighting does plat trick on you as well.

ikuna: Might I also make a suggestion, Is it at all posable for you to take your coin in to a coin shop/Dealer in your area ? They have the right scope for better viewing and can give you a better understanding as to what we all are seeing! Good luck with your coin.

I've got a feeling, this thread might get locked as it is pointless at this point.
