 Hey Coinfrog, are you saying I have old eyes. Ha ha, ok yes they are old. I would imagine if most people saw that on their coin they would ask around about the probability of a die not being polished enough that from an angle some of it shows. Possible? Yes..probable..no.

Been rumored for decades but no verified example has ever turned up.

Petespocket55 he was kind enough to instruct me on how to submit my coin. How awesome is that!
Errers and Varietys, what do you mean " I dont think so"?

Best of luck with the submission Rabbithole1. It looks like some thing to these old eyes.
It certainly makes sense the mint would have repurposed those unused VDB reverse dies from 1909 instead of chucking them.

I'm guessing the original VDB reverse dies would have been quickly altered after the change in the law, and if so, there should probably be identical 1909 versions of this example if in fact it is a left-over reverse die. To re-submit this for TPG evaluation is a waste of money, imo.

 I sent it off today! I made sure to call PCGS prior to sending it to make sure I had all the right boxes checked. Regardless of the outcome I'm still very thankful to Mr. Weinberg email in regards to submitting the coin. #10084;

I think you and Fred are seeing things that aren't there.
If it comes back as a 1910 with the 09-VDB reverse I will be more than happy to partake in a piece of well-cooked crow pie to atone for my doubts!
Good luck!

Westernsky, that made me laugh. I hope I can broil the crow pie for you:) All joking aside I just determined it's better to have it checked out before selling it. That the only reason I was taking pictures..was to put it on ebay.

I see the letter "T"(circled). To the left looks a bit like a "B" but it would be out of place(too centered). Getting an e-mail from Fred would be cool. Kinda like John and Jason buying your coin on ebay.
