At last, a new steel stock! Well...iron, anyway. More manly men, without shirts!

This topic is overdue for a bump and I finally got something new to post. Also, I just notice one of the Woodward images got unlinked somehow...

This one doesn't give any appearance of a steel-related company, but A.M. Byers was the largest wrought iron company in the country.

Here's one I had not heard of before -- the Charcoal Iron Co. of America. Charcoal iron was produced in a blast furnace fueled by charcoal, rather than coke. Iron smelted this way was tougher and more malleable, but coke furnaces were less expensive and eventually out-competed charcoal iron.
