I bought this coin and expect delivery tomorrow. Is it just me, or does there seem to be nearly zero interest in this issue? I see almost no discussion of this coin and I anticipate a very low mintage as hardly anyone seems to be ordering these (I bought the gold, but I don't think the silver coins are selling that well either.)

My law enforcement coins showed up Saturday. Not overly impressed.

I tried to talk myself into ordering one of the dollars and half dollars if for no other reason than to support law enforcement. Pricing is simply ludicrous to me. Passing on nearly all future Mint products (will try for a Morgan and Peace.)

I feel that some usmint product directions are leaning towards politically charged, and I don't wish to purchase such items. I don't want law enforcement themed items, nor race/gender driven items.

Now that it is late in the year, what do folks think about the "rarity" of this coin (compared to other modern commemoratives)? Will it command a premium any time...anyone have a crystal ball?

I like the clad half design but typically don't get clad coins since there is no precious metal content.

I bought both the silver dollar and half dollar proof coins for my collection. I am not a big fan of the dollar. I do like the half dollar obverse. I wish it was on the dollar.

There's something interesting I noticed about the Law Enforcement proof half dollar.
I purchase the silver dollar and half dollar commemoratives each year to keep my sets complete, specifically NGC graded examples on the secondary market. Even though my sets are part of the NGC Registry, I do not like paying extra for MS-70 or PF-70 coins.
With that in mind, can you believe I'm still waiting to find the Law Enforcement half dollar in PF-69?
This tells me that almost all of the proof half dollars are being graded as PF-70, at least the ones I'm seeing for sale.
Fortunately, I'm a patient man, in addition to being stingy.

I check ebay every week for an NGC PF-69 2021 Law Enforcement Half Dollar. They are all PF-70, except one that is in a three-piece set with the gold and silver dollar.

I bought the silver UNC and proof dollars from the mint.

There are very few graded coins being sold. Popular issues can usually be obtained in MS69 and PR69 in ebay auctions for about the mint price. Only some high BIN coins available this year.

Same issue with the Christa McAuliffe coins. Neither are very popular.

I bought the proof half dollar and proof silver dollar of the these coins. I do prefer the half dollar design over the dollar design.

The gold proof was less mintage than the gold uncirculated?

That does seem unusual. The silver proofs certainly did their job besting their uncirculated counterparts.

Not really because the proof is in the 3 coin set.
