Thank you NumisEd and jbuck for reviving this thread by proxy, I hadn't seen it given its age and title. I just acquired a small stack of district issued inflationary notes at a local show. I find this pair intriguing, as they were issued in the same city on the same day for the same denomination, yet are quite different. 5,000,000 Mark - August 15th, 1923 - City and District of Coblenz - Type #1:  Ditto, Type #2:   |
