As a long time EAC collector, I have come to accept the fact that it is often difficult to reconcile grade and 'affordability of price' in one coin: as a result, most of my early coppers tend to be either scarce, but in lower grades, or, in better grade but common(ner) varieties. This is one case where I think I managed to achieve both. Very excited about this one.

jpbone, I based my buying decision on VF20-Vf25. Maybe conservative, but i'll get a better idea once in-hand. The quality and color of the surfaces is determinant.

Very nice GERMANICVS, looks to be quite high grade, congrats on the newest acquisition.

Don't ever regard yourself as the owner of this really beautiful coin. (Even though you will legally own it.)
You will merely be the responsible custodian of it,
because many people have owned it before you, and many people will own it after you.

I envy you anyway.

Same applies to every ancient coin that I 'own'.
