Investigate? Does DDO-001, have a broken hub issue, and this coin shows a broken hub issue?

The fat part of the R looks like it got squashed, more than likely post mint damage. The serifs of the lettering is clearly doubled on the Y in LIBERTY.

Have you looked at die 2 or 3? Thus my original questions.

I have looked at DDO-002, 003 on the site to compare previously, which are the other main ddos listed. Seems like they don't match:

FS-101:

FS-102:

Found-1936-LWC-DDO-In-Roll-Of-Coins!!

This is DDO-001, the R is not broken and there is strong doubling on IN GOD. Congrats, great find!

Well taking another look at the OP's image, It is 001. I saw the weakness on this that device and saw it as something different. But at least I brought out the point of the differences and it looks like every one figured it out before me.

So while we are on the subject of a broken hub. What is different between a broken die and a broken hub? (Clue: Number of dies affected)

So when the hub chips off, the dies will show the appearance that something broke off the coin, but it didn't. The hub is a positive, so the coins will show what is going on with the hub that creates the die. On the 1936 there are several of the dies that show hub doubling, and not show the doubled die. So seeing this as a marker is not the way to find these doubled dies. Look for variety not the markers. Same for the 1956-D. Several dies showing this hub damage, but not all are RPMs.

CoopHome : Broken hubs what do they look like?

Very good insights!! I appreciate the knowledge and the graphics Coop, very cool! I definitely am not an expert on all types of errors. I'll use this for identification in future hunts!

Just a note,
Die #1 , 2 and 3 were all hubed with a undamaged R hub and a broken R hub.
