not even kidding. I went to work tonight to hear a familiar sounds in my till. it was kind of slow tonight so I got a chance to go through all the tills and I found another 80 silver quarters. i'll update with what kind I got today.

after today.
17 standing liberties.
(3)1926: 1 with S on it
(1)1927: D
(2)1928: 1 with S on it
(2)1930
the other 10 have no date on them. any idea on what these might be worth?

as for the Washington quarters, after today I am only missing 1933, 1938, 1939, 1947, 1949, 1954, 1955, 1957, 1963 to finish the set. many multiples, many S and D. i'll update with pictures a little later.

seems that there is something wrong here.

another 80 quarters?

with a semi-key date (27s).

i know this may seem fishy but I am as surprised as all of you. my manager said that these quarters came from the bank along with the other ones mixed into rolls. i'll have some pictures up by Monday.

sorry mods for posting the sale thing e-mail, I didn't know the rules of the sale forums but I apologize.

That's pretty amazing--somebody could have turned in an old hoard. If I were you, I'd check out that bank.

Yes, it happens. Many years ago I acquired several interesting rolls from the bank, thanks to a sympathetic girlfriend that worked as a teller. An older man dumped his hoard and asked her to find them a good home. She did.

One of those rolls got me started on my Franklin half dollar collection.

my co-worker said he went through the last of the quarters and found another 3 rolls of these quarters. I might go by and try to swoop those up as well. I guess someone did dump their hoard.
