Obverse has a small nick at 9 o'clock on the rim, lite scratches in the field right side, Strong striking on both sides, looks like a small die break left side leaf to rim edge also at 9 o'clock, very strong S mint mark. Solid MS 63, I go MS64 if it has better luster! A get her grinner!

Appreciate all the help and criteria here on this coin.
We may have this coin in hand by this weekend and will post the updated slab grade.
Happy Regards,

I'd be at MS-64 on it. Really sharp reverse.

Reviewing those fine obverse scratches, and assuming they're on the coin, I'll revise to 63.

A well struck example (at least compared to later examples from that mint) and an MS-63.

Hello Everyone, My wife and I have been gone on vacation and it wasn't our intention to not respond to this post with update. Sorry, if we offended those few that have posted frustration of not posting the Grade of this coin. The cloudy look at the bottom of the holder is just light refection.

We did purchase the coin just a little below the suggested
grade from NGC which is MS62. We actually feel it may be under-graded but don't have any intentions of resubmission.
Thanks to all of you as it did help us to purchase this coin.
It's an overall attractive coin for our collection.

With the rim ding and scratches I'd say it's fairly graded imo. Very attractive for that grade.

Thanks for getting back to us!

I would say it's a tad undergraded. I think it's a solid MS63, with a great strike personally.

IMO it's better than a -62.
