The proofs have been out for awhile. Anyone could have completed their set months ago. The regular circulation Alaska quarters are out, but I haven't seen any yet.

I have only been collecting one of each regular circulating (ie one from Denver and one from Philly).

I have some from circulation, I have family in Wisconsin, and some uncirculated from dealers.

The 2 Hawaii I just received are from a dealer here in England. He does the pair for £1.85 including p&p which isn't too bad.

I have them in a folder I picked up on a trip to the States back in 1999. Nothing fancy, it's by a company called Checkerbee Publishing? It's a tri-fold album and came with a book on the series. Not sure if you can make out the coins from these pics, but here they are! There is extra spaces below the set for other quarters and the obverses etc.

I have a State Quarter collection as well. I enjoy it a lot, because you can just find them in change here in the US. It's a little more fun that way sometimes. Maybe it's the thrill of sliding in the last one that you just found in your pocket.

I had no interest in chasing these quarters, however, that is a nice collection and I must commend you on having fun with that quest. I would say you are what coin collecting is all about and I kinda like that set. I say chase the next series too.
I like the North Dakota Bison. Washington Salmon jumping, and especially the Connecticut Tree.
They would be my favorites of all the State Quarters.

Hawaii-P's started on November 3rd, and Hawaii-D's started on November 6th. I got my first business-strike Hawaii-D's fresh from the Denver Mint that day. Of course, I've had 2 Hawaii-S Silver Proofs (in their sets) since August... (also bought at the Denver Mint).

I found that three of my Hawaii-D's had some round-line gouges like what the CoinStar machines sometimes inflict on coins, except that these were fresh from the Mint (and hadn't even left the Mint, until I left with them!).

So I spent them when I bought dinner that evening! I also spent five more that had relatively poor-looking flat areas, so all told I put eight Hawaii-D quarters into circulation the same day that they came out. All 'culls', too...

The following day (Nov. 7th), one shop here was already selling BU Hawaii-P's..... That's pretty quick, but so is getting them on Nov. 11th in Great Britain!

Yep , just finished my set as well and had it sent to my Nephew in Scotland.Last two quarters I had to buy were Hawaii and Maine , all the others I found in pristine condition over the space of one year in pocket change.
Ive started collecting the 90% silver BU ones now and am 1/3 of the way.Have to buy those.

I have a P and D set completed except for 3 P's in '07 and all of the P's in '08.......waiting for change.....
I have a "D only set" too that is completed with uncirculated except for Hawaii.
I have an uncirc. roll from most of the states too.
And of course some uncirc. sets and proof sets and silver proof sets.

P's are slow to come to Kansas.....and "pocket change" is the cheapest way to get em. D's I can get direct from my bank, before they're circulated, as soon as they come out of course.
Very doubtfull that I'll ever try to make a proof set of these.

Patience......time.....no hurry....I'll get em' all.

I started very late , just last year.Im doing well for the 90% silver ones , average 3-4 new ones a week.
I snagged 2 silver slabbed ones certified and graded , I guess the world was sleeping because I got mine for giveaway prices , around 3 bucks + 4 bucks shipping. One other guy came in bidding them up to the 20 dollar and up range....still...it was a great buy.

I have the full set in silver proof, but I also have 3 unopened BU bank rolls of the "P" in every state except Hawaii, I hope to get them in the next week or so. I know they will be worth at least $1500, face for the 150 rolls.
