It's complete! I can't believe it, but it feels good to have one date set dansco complete.

Congratulations!

Wait, it looks like you have a 1976-S V1 Proof in the 1976 V1 (Philly business strike) hole?

Thanks jbuck! I just looked through your Ike photo collection and you've got some real beauties. I especially like the toning on the '78 Philidelphia, it's just gorgeous.

Wow, I never noticed that. It does look like a proof coin, doesn't it. I'll check it out tonight when I get home.
Dang, back to the search...

I bought that one from our very own Darth Morgan. It was a birthday present to myself.

Funny story...

As I neared the completion of my Ike Dansco back on the early 1990s, I noticed that my 1976-D V1 was missing the mint mark. Yup, somehow I put an extra 1976 V1 in that hole. It was a quick trip to the LCS to fix it.

For what it is worth, that extra '76-V1 is now in the middle (blank) hole at the bottom of the last page. The other blank holes have different duplicates.

Those empty 4 holes on last page could be filled with a pair of 1990 proof and unc Eisenhower Centennial commemorative dollars and a pair of 2013 proof and unc Five Star General EISENHOWER/MARSHALL dollars. Just an idea.
