I can't make up my mind I wanted to say AU-58 for first round of pics. After the second pic I think I'm at MS63+

MS65+ you are correct Fenton, this one is a tough coin to grade!

since the 87(P) are typically sharp and bold this one falls a little short on the obverse for strike. the blotchy toning will also knock it a tad. the luster does not look broken and surfaces are fairly clean noting fortcollins comments. I would put it in the MS65 bucket but deducting one for below average strike and eye appeal. MS64

I love the toning , great eye appeal. The little black spots on the obverse are a little distracting. I can not quite see if there is any wear but am leaning towards MS-65

It's a nice one. I think the bright photos made it tough to see what was going on with the surfaces.

I suspect that mark near the star is on the die. For this one I generally agree with the PCGS grade. It's practically mark free and has nice luster. At worst, 66+.
