PCGS usually doesn't give RD to toned cents...so I'll say 65RB

MS67. as for color I dislike using trueview to determine that. its probably RD but I'm going with RB since I dont think this is what it looks like in hand. just a few minor ticks on the reverse. nice coin.  |

I'll say MS-65RB, because unfortunately there's too many hits on the reverse. However, I wouldn't be surprised if PCGS gave it MS-66.

So I won't have this coin in hand for a good two weeks, as I had it shipped elsewhere, and I'm not going to return there for two weeks.
Nevertheless, I'll reveal the grade in 24 hours anyway. I'll submit pictures later when I do have it in hand.

I like this coin! I'm in at MS-66RD. I may have to start buying a set of Lincoln toned coins like this. BUT I'll have to sell an error coin before I buy a cent!

65RB, the chatter in the reverse field keeps it out of 66 IMO. That said, the coin has fantastic eye appeal and the TPG's are very forgiving on hits, spots and ticks when the eye appeal and luster are high. |

I agree that this coin doesn't deserve a MS66 RD, but PCGS was very generous.

I was at ms66rd, I think a lot of that toning lies within the toning in hand is why I went red. I like it.

Is this an RPM-004? I can't get enough of a feel of comparative mm angle and position from the photos, but the mm has a fairly close appearance. |
