I agree, counterfeit. Has that "casted" look to it. Hope it didn't cost you much.

Nice fake. You can really tell with the E.PLURIBUS.UM and the casting pit you can see on the side of the coin lower right out side on the rim looking at the reverse pic. Also it has casting bump on the rim at the end of the right wheat stem. I have a Question. Can you show a better picture of it on the scale. I enlarged it a lil and the one on the scale did not looks like a 1943 cent!

So we know it is a counterfeit meant to deceive the buyer, so I Have to ask where did you get it from? and how much did you pay for it?
