If the coin is worth at least $150 slabbed,it might be worth it to have it conserved by a TPG.

To me I would leave it untouched. Even some companies that do this professionally to alter a coin, it looks terrible and you wish you would have left it as is:

Note on this one. The left is the before, the right looks like it was ruined by the conservation of this coin. The second image looks like someone did it themselves. I would have been upset with that result. The coin screams: 'Cleaned!" Best to leave them as it is, than to alter and possibly loose 90% of the value.

Wow, another? Great find.

OP should read through the other thread since it was sent for grading.

I would send it just to protect it.

Wow! That's wild. We'd be lucky to see 1 surface every 5 years or so, so 2 in a month is wild!

By the way, I was the one who assisted the last person in getting his example graded. So, if you decide you'd like to have yours graded, and don't already have a membership with your preferred grading service, please contact me and I'd be more than happy to assist you.

Incredible find! It's crazy that two of these have been found so recently when there are so little in the world.

Perhaps your find will prompt more people to go through those big jars of coins as well!

I did not magnify this one, used different lighting and cleaned up the picture. Does that help?

Thank you.
