The 2500 FE cents minted were all proofs, and they're $10k in VF. So you've got $20k taped under a sink, and that's enough for me. Sorry.

Try seeing if they stick to a magnet. Try weighing them if possible. However, based on that 57, I'd say all fakes.

Welcome newcomer. That's a very interesting story on the coins, although people will hide things in the strangest places. About the coins - one really doesn't need to look at the design or lettering on these examples. Just look at the dates - all wrong - the font, formation and sizing - all unlike any genuine Flying Eagle cent. Sorry, but none of them are genuine.
