Quote: but I will state I have a STRONG dislike for flowing hair coins. Okay, you gotta be more specific. Why would any coin collector have a STRONG dislike for flowing hair coins. What did she ever do to you? And I was going to send you one for free!!........never mine!

MS67? I assume all of those scuffs, ticks and in particular the scratches across the forehead and cheek are on the encapsulation, not the coin.

MS-67 with that scratch across the cheek? Gotta be a nut case to pay 15K for that.

I just think they look butt ugly in anything under VF-30, the problem is they are stupidly expensive at that point. The cheapest is the Half Dollar and even that one starts at $3000 in VF-30, then they start at $6000 in the same grade for the other denoms.

It's neither a dollar nor a half. Looking at the photos, they're similar in size making it a half-dime.

I just check the big 3 pop reports. Unless I'm missing it, I don't see any 1950-D's higher then 67.

I'd definitely take the dollar, since I need one for my US type collection.

The more I study the pics of the cent the more foolish the price seems.
