Indeed when I saw the photos, I was like "wait a minute..." because that is certainly a DDO.

Nice find!

Thanks John1 and SilverCents. How about a strike through or lamination? Hopefully these pics help

Like others I initially thought this was some stain on the surface so before I took these pics I took some water and a cotton towel and tried to remove what I could. Nothing changed but it looks like annealing issue from the colors to me. Also something on 1st pic neckline and going through y in liberty

This is more of a share than anything. I don't have lying eyes. May also be a clash on the neckline

Can you get a better shot from the left side of the "F" in OF to the top of the head?

Thanks!

Thanks fortcollins. This is about as good as it gets with my phone. It doesn't look like much of anything but since it's on a known variety I had to ask. Just pointing out what I noticed. As always I could be wrong. Maybe best for me to move on to the next coin since most say there's no there there. Thanks to everyone for looking and commenting

Thanks Willburton. Lately I've been doing more buying than searching. I didn't feel like waiting so picked this up on ebay. Good luck with your searching. When you find one I'm sure it won't be as toasted as this one. Lol

I see what looks like a weak die crack from the SW corner of the "F" in OF to the head. There are some circulation dings right on top of it, but the crack is traceable. I can't tell if the crack continues up the west side of the "F" to the rim.

Thanks fortcollins. I guess it's just normal die wear.
