What makes you think it's fake ?

A side by side comparison is really telling! PCGS photo on the left, the ebay photo on the right.

Just a quick comment and question. How do they get away with fraud like this, why is ebay and Etsy not be held accountable?
Right now someone on Etsy is selling a 1943 steel penny in VG or better condition for $50,000.00 and says it's rare, I have a jar of them my
Dad took out of circulation between 1943-46 that looks as nice. I would be glad to sell them the whole jar for $50,000.00!

Tip of the day:
When you type in PCGS as a title on a saved image, it will not load up. So I changed it to xxxx instead of PCGS, reloaded the image and now it shows up. So don't use those letters on the title on an image, well to post here, it won't work.

Should PCGS be informed about this fake slab?

PCGS really must start photographing EVERY coin they grade and slab. And ebay should REQUIRE of every seller to include a link to the PCGS or NGS database to be able to check the validity of the coin being sold.
