This issue is SOFT across the board. Finding a well struck example that's not completely worn out is very difficult. On coins that are very difficult to grade (not due to pictures) like this one, I have to look at the rims. There are only a couple of small hits that I can see - an indication that the coin saw little circulation. With a TPG, the worst case would be VF-35. That's a fair technical grade. However, if the TPG knows the issue (which all the pros probably do) and the coin has eye appeal, I'd expect an AU grade. I'm betting this coin looks great in hand.

Late to the party here, but I agree with the comments about the strike. That's fantastic for a 1924-S.

That is nice and I was thinking it might go a bit higher. This is an MS64BN and yours doesn't seem too far off. Fresher dies than mine.
